In the past weeks,work send me to very “exotic” destinations,
Yonkers, New Jersey, Bronx.City Island is one of the Bronx destination I went to.We couldn’t get a yacht,but got lucky enough to get booked with Camille for Marie Claire and we spend the all day on a sailboat.
It was a fun day and Camille looked adorable. She is wearing the new coolest sneakers.They have an 60/70’s feel and they are super comfortable.I am not a big sneakers fan, Louboutin is usually my thing but I may change my mind for the Feiyue…

Mini Micro Movie.
In fact,a TV commercial,in a suburban house very crowded with lots of equipment and a big team of people. I was styling the main actor who wanted his trailer for himself so we camped outside. Luckily, it is July and a beautiful day.
Isabella was helping me. She is interning at Marie Claire but they let her out for the day. She buys a lot from thrift store. I like her black and gold look.

A Trend Can Last.
Long, very long…. For example, did we found anything better than a Fedora for the summer? It is small so fits easily in your bag, has a cool masculine/feminine look, is urban and good at the beach, and still looks good on if you are wearing sunglasses. I think it is slowly morphing into a classic.

What I Love About Alice?
Aside from being a great designer, she laughs all the time, such a treat when you have a night out with her. Her new line Piplette just launched at Urban Outfitters. It’s very cute.

I found an old pair of Gucci pants.
They are from one of the first collection done by Tom Ford. So happy I kept them!
They felt so new. Perfect to go to the party for the new Moscot sunglasses at the BLK DNM event.

A Day in the Desert with Lily.
About one hour from L.A, there is a dry lake called El Mirage. I shot there many times but this story with Lily is one of my favorites. I still love the army inspired look and I’ve been trying to get that kind of hair since then, just messy enough. Marine Summer Hair from Fekkai helps and the famous surf spray from Bumble and Bumble.

Simple little things that I will carry with me every week end this summer:
My Minnetonka Mocassins,ray ban sunglasses in a cool army green color,some bright colors bracelets ,one from Hermes and one from some outside market in Massachusetts.

A pair of Topshop Oxford shoes,distressed denim shorts and a man shirt from Earnest Sewn.
That’s how my assistant showed up this morning. It is such a simple look but she looks really cool and won’t be trampling in high heels shoes when we’re on set. I think high heels on set are a little ridiculous,can you really move theses big trunks with your Louboutin? Only few chosen ones can!

Marine Dupre is my 19 year old niece who lives in Paris and came to Palma de Mallorca for a visit while she waits to hear if she got her baccalaureate before taking off for more vacations if she passes. Fingers crossed!
Her summer bag is a pretty blue Goyard with a bright orange stripe. She fills it up with many little pouches witch is very useful when it flips over on the beach.
