I was up for the challenge but took the dogs Moops and Kiki with me for moral support. They ended up in front of the camera too. Could they add some denim for my furry friends?

Front row at the shows,
We used to have the “classic” photographer with a camera and tons of films, or just editors drawing on pretty notebooks.
It is a little different now. Thanks to Bill Cunningham, there is still the “classic” eye but now we must add the Ipad photographer, the Iphone photographer, some people twitting or just texting,… Choose your weapon.

Rain in Paris,
Nothing special about it but it does bring colorful uniforms.
Maybe they inspired Bruno Frisoni at Roger Vivier. Yellow and blue, nice combination. Colors, colors, it won’t go away. It’s all right with me.
The last snowman

I found the perfect snowman and the perfect jacket.
We can’t complain about a winter that feels like spring every two weeks, as long as it is cold enough to give me a reason to buy a new winter jacket, it is all good. I just got that one at Gargyle on the lower east side. It is from United Bamboo and I love it. Military is a classic, at least for me.

We all lost it for the pink panther slippers.
Sometimes Louboutin can’t compete. We had a general meltdown over something un-expected, a pair of pink stuffed animals slippers. We were shooting Julianne Moore for French Elle and we asked Sun Studio for some slippers that she could wear during hair and make up. They usually are the boring useful kind, white thing you find in hotel rooms.
That’s the only thing she requested after the shoot, could I keep the pink slippers? Of course!

Have you met anyone wearing Versace for H&M yet?
I did. Meet Jake Hammel. We had a great time at Factory PR during the Mango presentation. He gave me a very good twitter lesson. I still need practice. He has something for colors. I love his Versace H&M shoes matching his pocket square. Life has to be fun so is fashion!

I am having so much fun with the new Spring 2012 collections. On a fashion shoot for Marie Claire with Angela Lindvall, I am totally in love with Dolce, Prada and Chanel. Yikes, I better start saving!

Very high, the waist for the new jeans.
It was another fun party at the store. Every one tried a pair, drank some champagne and left happy with a new DLK DNM idem. I got the number 6 jeans in black. Sort of a Marilyn Monroe’s jeans from the 50’s reinvented for today. Sound strange but has to be tried. Once squeezed in , nothing moves, perfect to keep a flat stomach.

I think some people do.
One of my most requested styling trick is this weird thing nicknamed chicken cotelettes. The best ones are found at Victoria Secret. Doubled with a patted bra, it’s impressive. That’s good for pictures but what happens when it’s time to get naked. Better not let them fall on the floor; they make a terrible floppy noise. I would say, a good thing to show off but to avoid on a date. Maybe?

You can always count on Olivier Theysken for magical dresses.
For Theory, he did it again. I put one of them on Leighton Meester for an editorial. She looked so pretty. The tulle is quite thick but reflects the light beautifully. There is a lot of princesses for Spring 2012. Good!
